• Practice applying your own unique leadership styles and values in more flexible ways to get more productive results from staff members. 
• Practice communicating work requests in ways that motivate staff members to come to work, do quality work, and stay with the organization. 
• Practice conducting growth-promoting performance reviews that increase each staff member's participation, job skills, and contribution.
