Purpose, Vision, Mission and Statement of Faith

Purpose … This is the object for which PAL IBI Roundtables exist and operate.

The IBI Roundtable program exists to motivate and assist small groups of twelve business owners. The focus is on "Helping One Another Avoid Costly Mistakes and Make More Profitable Decisions" .  We support one another in most quickly and effectively achieving the goals each of us has set for ourselves. We focus on helping one another quickly resolve "sticky" business issues and grow high integrity, profitable businesses that are examples of excellence in our communities.

Vision…  This is a comprehensive word picture describing the preferred future of what IBI Roundtables can and should be.  

While living life and running our businesses in an age of relativism and a spiraling helix of ethical scandals, our members provide one another with sound, high integrity strategies and tools to help one another “notch up” leadership and integrity in our lives and businesses. 

We have the desire to belong to a trusted "personal board of advisors" of like-minded peers for counsel, personal feedback and mutual accountability support. 

IBI Roundtable participants consistently focus on the “how to” of skillfully developing and applying the relevant and proven methods of effective:  

• Leadership and management

• Organization development

• Problem solving and resolution

• Decision making regarding the “sticky” business issues members face. 

While doing this, we diligently do our best to apply proven, proactive leadership principles. We diligently do our best to model what it l takes in personal and business practices to build stellar lives and businesses. 

Mission... This is a  description of who does what with whom and how to contribute to the achievement of our vision.

The IBI Roundtable program: 

• Organizes and facilitates compatible, small groups of like-minded men and women who own their companies.

• Facilitates the resolution of members’ “sticky” business issues through the use of the ProActive Problem Resolution strategy.

• Helps members most easily and quickly achieve their personal and business development goals through collaborative coaching, mutual accountability, peer advisement, and encouragement.  

Statement of Faith for ProActive Leadership

We Believe...  

• There is one God, eternally existing in three persons: the Father; the Son, and the Holy Spirit.  
• The Bible is God's written and inspired revelation to man and is the primary authority for man's life.  
• The deity of Jesus Christ, His virgin birth, sinless life, miracles, death on the cross to provide for our redemption, resurrection, bodily ascension into heaven, present ministry of intercession for us, and His return to earth in power and glory.  
• The personality and deity of the Holy Spirit, His power to perform the miracle of the new birth in nonbelievers and to indwell believers, enabling them to live a godly life.  
• Man was created in the image of God, and because of sin was separated from God - that separation can be removed only by accepting, through faith, God's gift of salvation which was made possible by Christ's atoning death and resurrection.  
• Jesus Christ is the Head of the Church, and all believers are to assemble together regu­larly for worship, for edification through the Scriptures, and for mutual encouragement.  
• Jesus Christ commanded all believers to proclaim the Gospel throughout the world and to disciple the people of every nation. The fulfillment of that Great Commission requires that all worldly and personal ambitions be subordinated to a total commitment to "Him who loved us and gave Himself for us."
